Student President Election 2022
On behalf of the Student Council, We are excited to announce the opening of applications for our next Student President. The Student president is the head of the Council and must lead their council as well as work with staff members and the student body to ensure success in representation, development and experience for all students on the Dubai campus.
This role is an elected position. Students will vote for their chosen candidate.
PLEASE NOTE – This role is a full time position and the term is 1 year starting from the 1st of June 2022. ALL candidates must attend a briefing session pre-campaigning on the 28th of February at 3pm – Campaigning before this time will mean an automatic disqualification.

1.1. Student President:
The role holder is an elected full-time Sabbatical Officer and Chair of the Council. The role holder is paid by Heriot-Watt University Dubai as a member of staff, responsible for:
a.Being the primary representative of the Dubai Student Body at the University;
b.Promoting the aims of the Student Council and the interests of the students at the Heriot-Watt University Dubai;
c.Co-ordination of the internal and external activities of the Student Council;
