🧠 Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA): Insights, Opportunities & Real-World Experience
Join Keelyn Peard, Case Supervisor (M.Sc., IBA) at Small Steps Learning Difficulties Centre in Dubai, for an informative guest speaker session exploring Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and what a career in the field can look like.
Students will learn what ABA is and how it is used in practice, explore career opportunities in the UAE and internationally, and gain insight into a typical day in the life of an ABA therapist. The session will also cover working with children with autism in schools and clinics, the key skills employers look for, and practical advice for psychology students interested in entering the field.
Students will also gain a clearer understanding of the possible pathways into ABA after completing an undergraduate psychology degree, making this a valuable session for anyone considering ABA as a future career.
