What is ICE? 

The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), established in 1818 in the UK, is a leading professional body dedicated to advancing civil engineering worldwide. With over 95,000 members globally, it provides accreditation, training, and resources to support engineers at all career stages.
 

What does the ICE HWUD Student Chapter do?

The ICE HWUD Student Chapter serves as a dynamic community designed to support and engage civil engineering students by providing networking opportunities, professional development, practical experience, and a supportive community. 

By becoming a part of the ICE HWUD Student Chapter, you get to explore and learn more about Civil Engineering through:

  • πŸ‘©‍πŸ’ΌπŸ’Ό   industry events (in collaboration with engineering firms and graduate ICE members),

Student President Election - 2026/2027

On behalf of the Student Council, We are excited to announce the opening of applications for our next Student President. The Student president is the head of the Council and must lead their council as well as work with staff members and the student body to ensure success in representation, development and experience for all students on the Dubai campus. This role is an elected position. Students will vote for their chosen candidate. PLEASE NOTE – This role is a full time position and the term is 1 year starting from the 1st of June 2025.

The polls open at 09:00 on Monday 2 March 2026 (in 3 weeks and 5 days)
