Welcome to the Heriot-Watt University Dubai Chess Club! This year, we're spicing things up with chess variants and other fun events(such as blindfolded chess and staff vs student tournaments). Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned player, join us for fun, casual games and a chance to improve your skills in a relaxed setting. Come connect with fellow chess enthusiasts and enjoy the game in a fresh and exciting way. All skill levels are welcome!

Student President Election - 2026/2027

On behalf of the Student Council, We are excited to announce the opening of applications for our next Student President. The Student president is the head of the Council and must lead their council as well as work with staff members and the student body to ensure success in representation, development and experience for all students on the Dubai campus. This role is an elected position. Students will vote for their chosen candidate. PLEASE NOTE – This role is a full time position and the term is 1 year starting from the 1st of June 2025.
