Welcome to the MUN Club

We believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals who are academically excellent, globally aware, and socially responsible. Our MUN Club embodies these values, offering you a unique and engaging platform to explore international relations, diplomacy, and critical thinking.

What is MUN?

Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations, where students play the role of delegates from various countries and debate pressing global issues. It's an incredible opportunity to dive deep into world affairs, understand different perspectives, and sharpen your public speaking and negotiation skills.

Why should you join?

Weekly Sessions

Dynamic sessions packed with debates on climate change, global health, security and human rights - plus elimination-style showdowns, podcast-style discussions, and games that test your wit as much as your diplomacy.

We team up with other societies throughout the year for collaborations packed with prizes and surprises. Catch us during Freshers Week to kick things off, and don't miss us at Watt Fair 2026 as we bring MUN to the wider university community.

The highlight of our year. Our very own Model United Nations conference, held at the end of the academic year - where you'll apply everything you've learned, compete with delegates from other universities, and showcase your skills on a larger stage.
